Domain expiry checker
Enter a domain to see when its registration expires, how many days are left and which registrar it's with. The data comes from the official registry (RDAP), the same source registrars use. If a domain lapses, the website and email stop working, and after a grace period anyone can buy it.
Questions
What happens when a domain expires?
The website and any email on that domain stop working, usually within days. Registrars normally offer a grace period to renew, often at a higher price. After that the domain can be released and registered by someone else.
Why is no expiry date shown for my domain?
Some country-code domains (many .in, .co.uk and others) don't publish expiry dates publicly. In that case the registrar's dashboard is the only reliable place to see it.
How do I stop my domain from ever expiring?
Turn on auto-renew at your registrar, keep a valid payment card on the account, and make sure the account email is one you still read, since renewal warnings go there.
